Have you heard about the form of meditation called "forest bathing" or shinrin-yoku? It is a Japanese form of mindful reflection in nature that has been shown to reduce stress, have positive cardiovascular benefits, and increase immune response.
Join me on Wednesday, August 18 at 5-7 pm for an exploration of forest bathing following the footsteps of Concord's Henry David Thoreau in Walden Woods -- Brister's Hill (this is not at Walden Pond, but a lovely trail and meditation area in Walden Woods on the other side of Rt. 2 from Walden Pond) (Rain date is Thursday, August 19 at 5-7 pm). Pre-registration by August 11. Note: all participants MUST be fully vaccinated to attend
